We have been living in the hotel on base in Fairford since Monday. It isn't great but it will have to do until we can move into our house. More on that when we are farther through the process but just a little teaser, we are going to live on a lake.
Anyways, the hotel has AFN or the Armed Forces Network. They have tv shows from both the US and the UK. We have 10 channels that are from the US and a few other that I'm use to from the UK, mostly BBC channels.
But for about an hour or so each day in the afternoon AFN has a few shows from the states that come from the channel HGTV. I love it!!! I use to watch this channel alot when I was in college. I have always been somewhat creative but more so now that I have been married.
I really wish the UK would have some shows like that. Since being here I watch alot of home shows like shows that renovate houses/apartments, and selling different properties to move to the country.
These are great shows. I like them but at the same time I miss what I'm use to. I guess I will have to just get over it for at least another 4 years. Only time will tell.
