I'm Back!

Just wanted everyone to know that I'm back. We ended up staying longer than expected because well, unexpected things happened. Will explain in a longer post later! Just wanted you all to know that we are home and we are safe.

Blog Issues

I'm having issues with my blog. It looks so boring. I guess we can start from the beginning as a story is nothing without a back story. Everything has a back story.
I wouldn't say that I'm new to blogging but I'm still learning a lot. I mean hell, I just learned how to embed a video in the blog about 3 weeks ago and putting pictures in my blog was something I only accomplished about 6 months ago. See I also have a website that Tim and built for our friends and family back home. I use to be really good about updating it but I found that I like my computer better. I'm more familiar with it and well I know where all my files are on it. Tim's computer is a bit more confusing. He has lots of pics on it and he moves them when he is making more room for other stuff so I often times I to find where he has put them all in order to update my website, thus, why I started taking my own pictures.
Anyways, my point, do I really have one? Oh yeah, that I'm getting more familiar with the whole blogging thing and now it is time to go towards the more advanced stuff. I have been looking at other people's blog and their blogs are so much more diverse than mine. Mine looks so boring and plain. I'm not sure if I'm ready to change providers, as this one is free, but I'm debating. I like the 3 column layout better than the 2 column that I have. Guess I'll just have to surf around a little more and play around with the buttons and HTML to see what I really want to do.
