Happenings

What is new? Nothing really. On Sunday Tim and I ran 6 miles in 1:13 minutes. Not bad I guess. I'm not a runner as I have told you before. I found out that I won't be able to do the 10K when Tim is doing his half marathon b/c they are only offering a 5K so I guess I will be doing that which is fine with me.

We are trying to get ready for Thanksgiving. I'm cooking this year and so far I have 12 coming over. I want to sit at the table for everyone to eat but I'm having space issues. Not only is my house incredibly small compared to the average American house, my table is only suppose to fit 6 but I think I can get 8 around the big one and then 4 around a smaller table for the kids but it won't be a kids table cause it will be pushed right up against our table. Anyways, trying to figure out now how to get everyone in one room. Everyone that is coming, so far, is all British so they still have school that day. Remember Thanksgiving is an American holiday just like Guy Flawks Day is British. Anyways, I'm having color issues. My plates are red and white and I'm trying to not go for an Xmas look so I bought reversable place mats, but now I need a table cloth, or do I? I know these aren't big issues but the last time I did Thanksgiving we all ate on sterdy paper plates and ate on the couch and floor so just want this one to be better. One of the familys that are coming have never had Thanksgiving before so this should be really good.

Other than that nothing interesting going on. We finally got our orders which means the fighting begins. Its now time to go through all those little tiny things like put all the screws in its own compartment instead of the coffee can they have been living in cause the movers won't pack them that way and if they do it will be a mess when we go to unpack it at Fairford. We also found out that our good friend from Pope will be joining us in about a year and half or so. They have to do a tour in Korean together, it sucks cause they have a little girl, 3 y.o. But then they will only be about 3 hours away which is way better than a 12 hour plane ride. We haven't seen them in almost 5 years so we are excited to see them and finally get to meet our goddaughter. Okay off to wait for the phone to ring, need to work today.
