So my first day of teaching didn't go as smooth as I would have liked it to but I had classes that I don't really care for on that day. Today should be better, I have my classes that I enjoy playing with. I'm hoping that today will go better but we'll see. All I need is for Thursday to go well and the rest I could really care less about. It didn't help that we were inside yesterday either, although I think I would prefer it anyways just because England is usually cold and wet 10 months out of the year. I didn't like one of my games that I picked. It was keep away and these kids just didn't get the concept of that. They are spastic freshman and had no idea how to control the ball. I found out that you have dumb stuff WAY down for these kids to get anything out of it. We did relay races one game and then let them play. The playing was the best part. You start with one ball and by the end there are usually 2-4 balls being played at the same time, it is pretty great. The kids were all running around like idiots.
Even though the hallway floor is in we still have some work to do. I have to scrape the molding of all the glue that the contractors used to put it on the wall. The best part is that some of the molding was glued and some was nailed. So either I'm scraping or filling holes up. What a great country, the English rig everything. You should have seen some of the lighting they did. People are amazing sometimes.
Tim, V, and I started a puzzle last night. Tim and I had this crazy idea to buy puzzles of the places that we have been. The only problem is that we have to actually do them so that we can put them up. I got into this when I saw some of KA's puzzles up in her apartment. I figured why not, I've got nothing else to do. So right now we are working on the ceiling from the Sistine Chapel. The picture on the box was so small that I had to go and get the book from the Vatican so we could see what the hell we were doing. It probably didn't help that the lighting wasn't all that great. We did one before of the NYC sky line with the twin towers in it. I framed it but I have to re-frame it cause I had to break the ends of the puzzle to get it to fit in there. Shady I know but I just had to put it somewhere as it was moving time for us. Nothing else to report...

YAY for puzzles. I haven't done any in an eternity. I have six or seven waiting to be done but our house is so small the only place I could do one is the kitchen table. Unfortunately the table is taken up by all our wedding shit because we don't have anywhere else to put it, you know what it is like to have a small house. Have I told you how glad I am you started a blog?
What made us get it out is that we saw the 3D ones at the BX, I thought of you immediately and the one you did of Big Ben (the irony). Take all the wedding shit and put it in a box. You know how many times I have taken my $3000 pictures out...twice I think, if not 3 times. We set our kitchen table up in the living room so that we can do it in front of the TV. Tim is making more progress than I was, I give up to easily. Anyways, I'm glad that I started the blog as well. Lots of stuff to talk about now that I have to time to do it. First time in a year and half that I feel like I have "me" time. Anyways, I'm going, this is a long comment.
