Next Thursday is my student teaching evaluation. This lady is going to determine if I am fit enough to teach other students on my own. Kinda scary that one person hold your entire future in the point of their little pen huh? I got to pick what class she is going to come and observe me teach. It is a good class, we told them today that I was going to be evaluated and that they were to be on their best behavior and put on a nice dog and pony show for the lady. Lets hope that it all goes well. I kinda wish I wasn't teaching soccer though. Although it is one of my favorite sports there is only so much you can do in a PE class. Kids get bored so easily and all they want to do is play. I can't say that I blame them, I mean it is PE right? We are doing Pickleball right now. It is kinda like indoor tennis. Very fun! I should have taken more PE classes when I was in college. I guess I just got lazy. I wish I was teaching that though, pickleball. At least with that you get to explain more stuff cause most kids don't know how to play. I mean it isn't like most kids don't know the basic rules of soccer. Right? I would think they do.
Today was my last day of class for 2 weeks then I start my LAST CLASS!!!! How excited am I? One more class and I will have a Master in Secondary Education. It has been long and hard and VERY expensive but I know it will be worth it when I finally get a decent non-monkey job. So on that note.....
