The first day that my Dad was here we went out and walked the dogs. There is a small river that runs through the center of the village. Dakoda likes to swim in it but it is only about 2 feet deep so it isn't all the challenging for him. Anyways, there is a small bridge and I tried to get Dakoda out but my Dad was convinced that he would swim under neath it. He didn't and got stuck and scared so I had to go in and get him. Here is a picture of me afterwards, wet pants and all. Fun times.
On Friday we went out to our local pub for dinner and drinks. I told Tim that we would know half the village by the time we went home that night. My father is a bit of a social butterfly, which is always a good thing. Anyways, we did the self picture of Tim and I. The food was really good and there is nothing like a Strongbow from the tap. It tasted so much better than from a can or even a bottle.
Bri really didn't want to drink and we didn't make her but she met one of the guys in the pub who bought her a few friendly drinks. She ended up having more than she wanted and in the end didn't realize how strong Strongbow was. This is her early in the night.
And here she is the next morning in all her glory. She was suppose to go and cut down a tree with one of the couples in the village but that didn't happen either. We all have one really good night. She was fine by about noon anyways.

The dogs always take a particular liking to my father. Dakoda pretty much follows him around the house and wants to sit in his lap all the time. Most times he wants to put his face right on top of yours but Dad usually ends up throwing him off and this is where Dakoda ends up, I guess he looks at it as the next best thing.
The weather has been a bit chilly lately. My sister thinks it is freezing and burned through almost my entire bag of wood but she did just come from like 70 degree weather and my dad from about 80 degree weather so I guess I can't really blame them. We are going to Bristol today to go to a rugby game so my sister and Dad are out walking the dogs. In my opinion this is a bit extreme as far as bundling up but it is like Daddy always said, "You can take it off if you have it on, but you can't take off what you don't have." So here is Dad all ready to go out and walk the dogs.
Other than that there isn't much going on. We are probably going to London on Friday or Saturday. Both my father and sister leave on Sunday and then the following Saturday my SIL and BIL fly in for about 10 days. They leave the 19th and then the 24-27 we go to Scotland for a long weekend. The weekend after that we have our neighbors from Thetford come down for a long weekend. Then at the end of May we are going to Cheese Rolling. Busy Busy...gotta try and fit some crafty time in there as I have many projects that need to get finished like yesterday.

Okay, that's all for now. Will post pictures of the rugby game later. Until then...
