Finishing up: Project #1 Shell Frame

I have this problem about finishing projects. They go off with a bang then I get bored very easily. So this weekend is all about finishing up projects that I have started a long time ago. Here is my first of many to do this weekend. It was my shell frame that I started....well I don't remember it has been that long. I did kinda a tutorial, but it isn't rocket science. Have a bunch of shells and hot glue them to a random frame. I think I'm finished with this. Not my most favorite project but I think it came out well. Check out the pictures.

Yes I'm standing on the chair, I'm short and the picture is turned the wrong way but I'm to lazy to change, it is the only one that is wrong so I don't think it is a big deal.

Up close of the frame. Didn't want to put any on the bottom in fear that it would scratch whatever I put it on.

Matting the photo. **Hint: when mounting a photo to mat, only put tape on 3 sides of the photo. Why? Because when you place the photo in the frame against and glass it pushes out all the air so you don't get air bubbles in your frame. Learned that when I took the frame class on base.

Place mat on top of photo. Tape should be sticky side up so the mat sticks to the photo.

Up close of my photo. Thought I should put a beach picture in here since I have beach shells and beach glass on the frame.

The finished product. I didn't want to over do it with shells going all the way around so I just did a heavy corner. Like I said, not my favorite project but it works. Might sand the frame later for a more beachy rustic look...no decision on when that is going to happen. It took me this long to finish this project.
