Ahhhh...a new month. Time to feel refreshed, well not really Christmas is just around the corner and we aren't done shopping. I'm tired of shopping, never thought I would say that. Anyways, on to the weekend recap
Friday
Went out to dinner with my old boss from the commissary cause it was his birthday. We went to Nando's, a chicken joint, good food. After getting lost, well kinda and then having to back track and go to the other Nando's, we ate. Good food, slightly spicy but that is what they pride themselves on.
Saturday
We had a bunch of errands to do. Had to mail some boxes to people at home to de-clutter my house, had to go to the BX and try and return a coffee pot that we don't like. Damn AAFES! We hate them. We don't like it, have had to for 4 days and they won't give us all our money back cause we used it like twice. They are going to knock off 25% off the top cause of this. Sucks I know. Tim was VERY upset and we still have the coffee pot. We had some bank stuff to do, sign some papers, etc. Ya know, not really fun stuff. I went to a Tupperware party after that. Now I like Tupperware but there is some of it that I know I just wouldn't use and I'm not one of those people that really likes something and then buys it and never uses it. I have learned that I have to justify my use before I can buy anything. This is also true of my Pampered Chef stuff and Longaberger baskets. So spent some money there and then went home to get Tim ready for his race on Sunday.
Sunday
Half Marathon day for Tim. It was NASTY out. It rained, it was cold, and very windy, and the mud was just gross. He did the first lap while I was in the car. I came out for the 2nd lap and only barely caught a picture of him. Tim wanted to finish in under 2 hours and made it I believe in 2:06 minutes. We won't know official time until this afternoon. We came home after that, washed the mud off and took a nap. I started Christmas cards and that was about all. Oh yeah a half marathon is 13.1 miles too.
Today
I have to work at this school that is well over an hour away and I have to travel through Norwich in the morning which is a pain in the ass and I'm not looking forward to it. I think even if I leave somewhat early it isn't going to make a whole lot of difference, but I have to try right. I have to work there again tomorrow, maybe next weekend I can get to sleep in. We are getting our tree on Saturday and other than that, we are doing nothing. Okay, off to get ready.
