So again, I'm a huge slacker, just wanted to state the obvious right now. Things are okay I guess, Tim and I are sharing a car because the Blazer is broken and we are waiting on parts. Things that suck about not being in the states. We finally found the part but well we are having problems shipping it because we the billing address and shipping address have to be the same and we just recently changed our banking address to Tim's parents house in NY because we wanted to start some investing with our current bank. For whatever reason they will not do this (the bank) unless you have a stateside address which we don't because we live in the UK. You following me?
So we closed an account with our current investor for our retirement because in the 6 years that we were putting money into it we only made $1500. It was a little frustrating I mean it is only a mutual fund but we wanted our money to do more plus we are going to have pay taxes on the $1500, nice huh? We opened a money market account which in English means we opened a really good savings account. We have about a 5% return on it which is really good since the usual saving account is less than 2% return. This account is going to be the nest egg or emergency account. I want to open another account to start saving for a house whenever we can buy one in a place that we are going to stay for more than 3 years. Seems kind of pointless to buy a house for just a few years but I have seen people do it. I wish we had bought a house when we got here. We would have made a killing when we sold it. But shoulda woulda coulda right...
Tim is getting ready for his deployment which means I'll be alone for the holidays. My mom is flying me home for about 10 days for my cousin's wedding and my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. I'll be at my in-laws for a few days and then I'll drive from NY to RI in a rental car.
We are having a dog issue with Maggie, she is still pissing in the house when the back door is open for her to go out and do her business out there. We have called a an animal behavorist to come in and observe and well tell us what to do, we are totally out of ideas. The final straw was her pissing on the bed in the middle of the day with both of us home and the back door open. We have started kenneling her during the day while we aren't here but I think it is an attention thing in a way. She doesn't like to be left alone. Tim went to bed early last night before I got home from work and he left the back door open and she went on the floor while he was home. I don't get it! Any suggestions from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
Other than that there isn't a whole lot going on. I might be getting a promotion at work at the commissary. Basically I would get 40 hours a week and COLA (cost of living allowance) which is about $200 extra a month. Not bad and it'll do until something else comes along. Nothing in official yet and won't be for another couple of weeks, right now it is mostly just hear say. So until next time....

Oh lord have mercy. Let me start from here: 1) do you ever catch her in the act? 2) If so do you disipline her like you would a puppy that is peeing in the house? 3) If she pees outside do you give her a treat or something to reward her? She needs to figure out that inside is bad and outside is good. Every time she goes outside you should give her a small treat and lots of praise. 4) If you aren't catching her in the act how do you know for sure it isn't Dakoda (sorry if I spelled that wrong) marking over her? 5) Does she continue to go in the same spot inside? If that is the case it might be a territorial thing or if she is going on the couch or bed it is probably territorial. In other words she wants her scent to be the first thing other dogs smell. 6) Is she the boss between her and Dakoda? Let's start from there and then maybe I can help some more. It could be so many things and since I really don't know much about her this will help a little. Talk to you soon and maybe I should have just emailed you instead of leaving this long ass comment.
