No Rain in England...Least not Today

So I noticed from other people's postings that it has been raining a lot in the states well really the east coast for a while now. Flooding in DC and just rain in general every where else. Let me just say one thing to that....Welcome to my life in England. Just picture that weather for about 9 months out of the year, it sucks doesn't it. More than anything I hate when the bottom of your pants get wet and then you take your shoes off when you get in the house and then your socks get wet that then get your feet wet. I hate wet feet more than anything. Anyways, I'm happy to report that we have blue sunny skies here in England. Don't worry though, my summer is only about 2 months long and then its back to the rain. It really doesn't get that hot over here. Technically we have already had our summer. The hottest day this year was 88. Yeah I know, it isn't hot but well when you are jumping for joy when it is 65, 88 is really hot to us. The worst is at night when you go upstairs. The English don't know what central AC is, there AC is a fan blowing from the window. Right now we have one fan in the window and the other on the other side of the bed so that we get ample air flow for both of us.

Tim and I are getting ready to go on vacation next week. We have decided to go to Amsterdam for 2 days, then head to Germany for graduation, and then to Paris for 4 days. We are going to try and go to Brussels but we aren't sure we are going to have enough time. The day that we get back Tim leaves the next day for a stag party. In England they aren't called bachelor parties or bachelorette parties, they are called stag parties/night and hen night. The concept is still the same. Except here they go away for the party. Tim is going to Rotterdam for the party, right next to Amsterdam. It is only for a night and it for a guy that he works with, he is marrying a British chick.

Tim is still working on school stuff. He is going to let me take the same program that he is taking. He is saving all his lessons and exercises so that I can practice as well. It will give me something to do with myself. I feel kinda lost since I finished school. I mean it gives me more time to do other stuff but sometimes I feel like I'm doing the same 'other stuff' all the time. I really need to catch up on my scrapbooking, I have fallen way behind in that. Something to shoot for then right?

There is a new puppy in the neighborhood. It is a little Jack Russell puppy. His name is Ben. We have made friends with the owner and we got to hold and play with him. I was showing Ben to Dakoda and Dakoda was scared of him. What a baby. He scratches and cries at the fence to see him and then we bring him over and Dakoda runs away. They are suppose to be getting another dog as well, 5 month old Lab. I'm jealous, we wanted a Lab but didn't think it was fair with the amount of time they need to be exercised and our yard is to small for a dog that size. When we get a farm or something.

Dad and Bri will be here in about 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to spending some time with them. We are going to take them out and play Snooker with them. It is kinda like pool but not. It is to difficult to explain right now but it is game known to Britain. Anyways, nothing else to report as of now....
