So this weekend was kinda boring, we really didn't do anything, I went to the soccer and softball games on base for the H.S. kids. The boys played first and lost 4-2. I think 2 or 3 of the goals were crap but a goal is a goal right? The girls did good, they were playing for 4th place (there are only 5 teams in the league). The weather wasn't looking good, it was a good thing that they tied the game just before the half 2-2 because they only got to play about 2 minutes of the second have before they called the game because of rain. I went up the softball game at half time of the boys game and we were killing the other team 11-3 so I didn't want to stay and watch a blow out, I hate games like that. Tim was out golfing and didn't get really wet til he was on the 18th hole which is the exact moment that they called the girls game. We were going to go to the bazaar on the other base but decided against it. We would go on Sunday which we never did either. We came home and cleaned up. I hate cleaning, some times I wonder why we got such a big house but then I remember that we aren't falling all over each other and I shut up. I made some sauce, my sauce is awesome. I came upstairs and started to shop, online of course because I don't really know what the inside of a good store looks like anymore with out having a stroke when I look at the prices. I went on to the Quixtar website, the site in which my parents run their internet business from and ordered some soap stuff so I can soften my water. The water here is REALLY hard and it destroys your clothes after many washing. Then I ordered some XS which is like Red Bull but tastes WAY better. I then had to go and look for a thank you gift for one of women that I work with. What do you get a woman that likes cats, gardening, and photography. I opted for a picture that I'm going to frame myself (I took a framing class). It is kinda cute the picture has a cat looking through a glass sitting on a red book. I like it and I think she will as well, I just hope that it gets here in time for me to give it to her.
Sunday was no more exciting. We cleaned some some as our house gets dirty with 2 puppies around. We started our training for the London Marathon and keep your fingers crossed that we will be allowed to run in it as most of the spots are taken up by corporate sponsors already. Can't leave anything for the little guy can they. I ran 2 miles and Tim ran 4. I probably could have gone longer as I think I'm getting into better shape. I wasn't as short of breath like I normally am when I run. Anyways, such is life....nothing exciting to report.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around!!
