Did you know?

Did you know that they don't have "school" buses over here? When you think of a school bus you think of something large and a yellow/orange kinda color right. You have to stop for them when they have their STOP sign out and if you pass them while they have their sign out you get 4 points on your license. In England the kids ride on Coach buses or Greyhound buses. There are no rules to them either and they blend in like every other bus. You can pass them when they are loading or unloading kids and there are no STOP signs on them either. It is kinda strange and at first I felt very guilty if I passed them while they were loading/unloading. I thought of this today when I was sitting waiting for the buses to leave school. Thought you would want to learn something new today.

School went well today. I had the classes that I don't really care for. I swear I think they picked all the laziest kids and the non-athletes and stuck them in one class and I have them. I mean I know there are going to be kids in every class that either don't like what they are playing or they aren't good at it or whatever but most of the time you get a few athletes who can just play. They aren't great but they don't suck either. This class has none, they are all a bunch of spastic kids who all got put in the same class. I have a few cheerleaders in there as well and they are okay kids but I can see their future. They are the future baseball whores. I don't mean to stereotype but well they are the ones that are playing into it. There are 2 that have seriously been sucking on a tank of helium for several years to be this airheady (new word for me). I just wish that they wouldn't act like such idiots, it just pisses me off.

I really excited about the Da Vinci Code movie coming out in a few weeks. I need to read the book again to see if the movie does it justice. I think that it will with Tom Hanks playing Robert Langdon. I have the special illustrated edition of both Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I wish I had read Angels and Demons again before I went to Rome. I do have the magazine that talked about all the sites in Rome that pertain to the book. I forgot that as well when I went to Rome. We are going to Paris this summer on the way to my graduation and I wanted to see a few of Da Vinci's works in the Louvre. Mom has been there twice and said that you could spend 2 weeks in there and still not see EVERYTHING. Totally amazing. I need to make a list of the places that I want to see before I die. I remember writing on my "Lifetime Goals" and there were three that I didn't think I was going to accomplish till way later one. They were to go to England, Ireland, and Italy and I have done all of those. Kinda cool and it wasn't even planned that way. It is great when things work themselves out ya know. Anyways, off to start reading Da Vinci Code again before the movie that comes out on May 19, or at least it does here in England. We are like 2-4 weeks behind when it comes to movies and TV series.
